Earthy Green Organic Green Tea
Earthy Green Organic Tea
Our Organic Green Tea is a classic green tea. The incomparable first flush tea, which is made from leaves gathered from the first picking of the year during springtime, is used for production.
The leaves are of remarkable quality and are processed via the traditional method of stir-fixation. This protects their rich nutritional value and the antioxidants.
A cup of Nutriherbs Organic Green Tea offers you relaxing warm and revitalising occasions throughout your day. Earthy Green can be steeped up to three times without losing its unique flavour.
With every consecutive infusion, Nutriherbs Organic Green Tea will reveal a slight divergent fine aroma. At the beginning it is mild and fresh, then aromatic and sweet.
Our organic green tea leaf is high in antioxidants (epigallocatechin gallate, EGCG) which helps to protect against free radicals.
Earthy Green Organic Rooibos Tea
Organic Rooibos Tea
Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) has long been enjoyed as a fruity, mild-‑avored beverage by the local indigenous people where it is grown in South Africa.
However, the recent discovery of its high antioxidant polyphenolic content has resulted in its rapid growth in popularity in the West and East as consumers seek to obtain benet from its health-giving properties.
The interesting facts about rooibos tea includes the vibrant amber colour of rooibos comes from the natural colour that develops during the post-harvest “fermentation” (oxidation) process, brought about by natural enzymes in the plant. Rooibos has no kilojoules. It ages well and can be stored for long periods without any deterioration in quality, flavour and taste.
In many countries, Rooibos is enjoyed as a hot or cold beverage without milk, with or without sweeteners. Many South Africans enjoy Rooibos as a hot beverage with milk, sweetened with sugar or honey.
Our Rooibos is harvested in the Cederberg Mountains in South Africa’s Western Cape. It has a unique sweet and deep russet colour which makes it an excellent naturally caffeine-free alternative to tea without any unpleasant side effects.

Organic Green Rooibos Tea
Green Rooibos is made from the same plant as traditional Rooibos. The only difference is in the processing. For traditional Rooibos, the green leaves and stems of the plant are crushed and “fermented” before drying. The fermentation step is actually an oxidation process brought about by enzymes and chemicals naturally present in the plant.
In the case of green Rooibos, the fermentation process is skipped, and the “green” leaves and stems are dried directly. Different processes are used to prevent oxidation.
Green (unfermented) Rooibos infusion has a lighter tan/yellow colour and a very mild “green” taste reminiscent of green tea.
Antioxidants level Green Rooibos has 10 times higher levels of antioxidants than traditional fermented Rooibos.
